If you've used the FastPrint24 platform more than once, you've probably noticed that after a certain number of uploaded files a small additional cost applies for each one. We want to explain why this rule exists and how you can avoid it in just a few seconds.
Why we charge per file
Often, when you have various materials to print, you end up with many one-page files, or files you only want to print single-sided. For us, it's important that your order arrives as quickly as possible, but an order with many small files slows down preparation, print organization, and consequently shipping too.
If instead you can merge these files into a single document, the preparation of your order becomes much faster, and so does delivery.
How to merge your PDFs for free (in 30 seconds)
We recommend a very simple free online tool: ilovepdf.com. Here's how it works:
1. Go to ilovepdf.com and click "Merge PDF".
2. Upload all your PDFs (you can also drag them in with your mouse).
3. Reorder the pages as you like (just drag the blocks).
4. Click "Merge PDF" and download the resulting single file.
5. Upload that single PDF to FastPrint24: no extra cost per file.
Bonus: keep your order tidy
When you merge multiple documents, remember to:
✓ Place files in the order you want them printed.
✓ Verify all pages are oriented correctly.
✓ Save a copy of the merged file on your computer, so you can reuse it in the future.
